Sony Bravia ad where multi-coloured paint fireworks explode.
The paint and the exploding effects were spearheaded by both Chris Oddy (Production Designer) and Mark Mason (SFX Supervisor) from AsylumSFX.
Three months went into development for the advertisement, eventually resulting in the use of high explosives and pyrotechnics.
Please note that the Sony Bravia commercial was a collaborative project. Paul Dunn from Special Effects UK, Charlie Adcock from Event Horizon and Jason Troughton facilitated the use of explosives while Alex Selby from Phoenix Fireworks programmed firing sequences using the FireOne digital firing system.

Arn – Tempelriddaren
Jan Guillou wrote a trilogy about Arn Magnusson, a fictional Swedish character from the middle ages based on another well-known fictional character, Arn de Goul.
Filmed in Morocco, Sweden and Scotland, the film is an account of the life of Arn Magnusson as he becomes witness and catalyst to many important historical events in his Swedish homeland and the crusader states of the middle-east when he is forced to become a Knight Templar.

Sexy Beast
Gal, a retired gangster, lives a happy life with his wife Deedee in a beautiful house in Spain. Don Logan played by Ben Kingsley, a respected name with the mob and an old “friend” to Gal, suddenly shows up.
He wants Gal to join him on this somewhat unusual job in London together with a hand picked team of respected gangsters. When Gal keeps turning him down, Don becomes more and more threatening, “No is not an answer”.
Sexy Beast was one of our first films and really captured our creative spirits; we are very excited to be working on our current film ‘Mirrors’ as it calls for a similar artistic and technical approach.
